The Bristol Virginia Sheriffs Office is currently accepting applications to test for employment from qualified candidates for various positions. We employ sworn deputy sheriffs and other non-sworn professionals in corrections, court services, medical treatment, classification, records, LIDS technician, dietary, and administrative support staff. Preferred candidates may also possess post-secondary education and/or a DCJS Corrections or Law Enforcement training certificate issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia.
